Still-life FU-KI Sake anyone, or how about FU-KI. My rendering of a still-life. The statue is from the famous artist BORIS, the mistress of fire. He is well known for fantasy art settings. Always been a fan. So I added a good old goblet and a wizards pipe and the rest of a Crane of my favorite chopsticks and of course the setting of a fine Japanese set. This all made for a good setting for a picture. This was a very complex drawing to get done right.

So, I was looking at this and me I like to analyze everything (sometimes). I thought this would look better with color? So I added some color to this just to add a different feel to it. I’m not sure if I like the old one or the new one?
These are Winsor & Newton Ink collection I used, very good for color and also for doing Calligraphy. Very pretty. If you notice I added a gold touch on some little part. If you can see that?

This is from the Itsukushima floating gate. In the city of Hatsukaichi in Hiroshima Prefecture in Japan. Some day I would like to visit there.
I liked how this looked and I did this on peach paper from Strathmore Artist Papers. I used chalk and charcoal for the colors on 19x25 by Jeremy T. Carpenter.
