Photographer covers models in honey to create stunning preservation portrait serious.
This was something I really enjoyed reading about, the essentials of bees. Bees are really important to sub-staining life. Awhile back their was news about huge number of bees dying off - from pesticides and fungicides from neighboring fields.
This was reeally creating a big problem in the agriculture industry, also not so good for the bees. Even up to 80,000 colonies were hurt in farm fields. Every year , bees pollinate about $18 billion worth of crops in america.  2014.

It was very important to me to represent them in my art. Even the smallest one makes a difference. If bees where gone we would have four years. Stated Einstein, agricultural would collapse, not just honey bees but wasps, bumble bees, and butterflies.
But I can go on and on about this how everything essential to life is connected to are bees, even if you are a full fledged meat eaters. Life would fall apart.
so seeing this support for honey and the preservation of bees, I give you my thumbs up on these articles in the art world. THANK YOU!

"The photographer states he used about 900 five pound buckets of honey. I'm gonna estimate 4.5 of those 5 lbs is honey and the other 0.5 is the bucket, so he used about 900 x 4.5 = 4050 lbs = 1837 kg of honey. This page says the density of honey is 1420 kg/m3, so that leaves us with about 1.294 cubic meters of honey. Converting that, we get 262,463 teaspoons. This means that these photos come at the expense of the lives of approximately 3,149,556 bees.
Additionally, a quick google tells me the average lifespan of a worker bee is from 1-4 months (we'll say 2.5), meaning around 655,722 years worth of bee work hours went into this."   BEES</

Ever since I was A little kid I would take on drawing pictures and doodling. I never thought I would be still at it today!  I’m trying this to see how this works. Not sure if I want to put a blog up on this page.  Random thoughts and stuff going through my head, life and things I like.
